Side A-only Coverage - How To Discuss

Side A-only Coverage,

How To Define Side A-only Coverage?

  • A Director's and Director's Responsibility Policy (D&O) that includes only directors and officers, but also pays directors and officers (known as Scope B or Change of Company). Does not fulfill the obligation. Supplementary forms are written on surplus or total vs. central D&O policy. If overwritten, that claim provides additional limitations when using the coverage available on the main form. Written in its entirety, the Side Only policy offers broad coverage beyond the basic development D&O policies as well as additional limitations.
