Going Back To College At 26

Do you have to be 26 to go back to college? 3

For the RN program? Most people will undoubtedly be younger. I feel like an old man compared to him. 26 old? I have a well-paying job now, but I think nursing is my job. When I was younger I worked as a coach and it was nice to know that helping people is my job. I don't know, Tugh 26 is a bit big for college, right? I also make a lot of money where I am now. I just take care of myself!

Thanks everyone for the great answers.

Absolutely not! Some of my best students are the oldest.

Traditional (junior) students are intimidated by non-traditional students and vice versa. But students who want to look beyond their age are the best performers. Many of my regular students find non-professionals insightful and encouraging and enjoy being with these students.

Also, where I teach now, more than half the students are older than me (I am 28 years old). But he realized that age did not matter.

One more thing, I have a 76 year old student. this is awesome! All students like it. :)

Absolutely not ... the university is for that, no one is old! And let's face it - most college students have been there for over four years! Money is not the most important thing, it is fun at work! I'm 26 and I don't know you, but I mostly feel like a 20 year old! College can make you feel really old if you are still interested in getting dirty at freight parties and sleeping with girls :) Students ... the oldest is 54 years old and everyone thinks he is great And I really appreciate it! !

As you get older, you will find that you regret what you did not do.

However, I jumped on the bandwagon and joined the Navy at 29 (at the age of two). Then I went back to college in the fifties ... and I was over 20 years old. And I'm straight too. Life experience gave me the upper hand over the youth in the class.

After training in many fields, I felt it was time to change my profession (helping people at risk), I went back to university to become a social worker with children.

The only thing is to know that you can do anything if you really want to. So instead of feeling old, turn around and realize that your age puts you ahead of others in your class. Also know that in the end, working for your own interests is more important than just working for a salary.

I think it's easy to get into college at the age of 26 or 30. In fact, 26 is the time when you need to develop the habit of good understanding which obviously comes of age. Even if people make you angry, I tell you, the same people will look at you in amazement when you take the opportunity to ride. This exercise is for everyone of all ages and I see that as soon as you are open for further study, you are moving in the right direction.

My sister was a few years older when she came back and just found out. It never takes long to pursue your dreams. For salaries, check the nursing profession statistics. Nurses earn a decent salary ($ 60 per second). And you can call your local nursing department to see if you can volunteer, make sure it's your call and, in turn, include the school. School. If you do not want to leave your current job, part-time education may be an option to consider. What helps, for example.

I returned to school at the age of 25 and graduated from high school at the age of 29. This is the best decision I have ever made. Don't worry about your age, you will be disappointed to know that many of your peers are the same age. It has become common for people to complain again. So if you think this is your call and it will make you happy, do it. It's better to be miserable all your life and wonder if you can make it.

no way! I went to a college where the average age of a student is 28 years. We have a lot of high school students in their 40's and 50's. Many students will not even know that you are older than them.

You never grow old to educate yourself. Many people are going back to school today. You may not be alone in your 20s. Most colleges offer evening classes for people like you who want to go to school while working. There will definitely be people your age (and older!)! Dark! I now!

Don't tell anyone you're too old to go to school, not old enough to go back to school, and you'll be ahead of college kids. I was in college and my classmates were old enough to be my grandparents. Go ahead, if you really love your job, I advise you not to stop just being a part-time student.

The average age of students at my university is 27 years. At 20, I was the youngest student in the department, and the next youngest was 23. Come on, you're young at 26.
