The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was founded on 4 December 1928 by a group of players from the Roshnar Club in Delhi to end the British monopoly on cricket. The first members of the BCCI were 6 regional organizations. Today it has 30 permanent members and is worth an estimated Rs 3308 crore.
